21-Year-Old Spurs Ace: We Must Beat Man Utd

Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has declared that the White Hart Lane club have to perform better against the Premier League’s more illustrious sides.

With Leicester City next up at White Hart Lane, followed by a double header against Manchester United and Chelsea, Kane believes that Spurs have to step it up and get a win against the Red Devils, if they want to prove their credentials for a Champions League place this season.

Spurs beat Burnley 2-1 at the weekend, recording their third win in only six days, showing the momentum behind the side.

While Leicester, who are bottom of the Premier League, will probably not present much of a challenge for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, Chelsea and Man Utd are a different matter entirely.

Both sides are in the top three in the league, and Man Utd’s draw against Aston Villa at the weekend was the first game they have not won in seven.

Kane believes Spurs need to get a result, however, saying: “That is something we have obviously got to put right.

“They are the sort of games we have got to start getting results in.

“They are both home games and we have got to start making it harder for the big teams when they come to Tottenham.

“Maybe it was psychological. In some instances we were probably beaten before we went out there.

“But I think we now have great confidence within the squad and are playing very well.

“I think we will be very confident going into those games.

“Hopefully we can win at Leicester and take some more confidence and momentum going into those games.”
