Chelsea are set to agree a deal with Besiktas, loaning the Turkish side their talented young centre back Kurt Zouma in January for the rest of the season.
Reports in Turkey have suggested that Besiktas have already agreed a deal with the Stamford Bridge club to take the French central defender on loan for the rest of the campaign.
Zouma moved to Chelsea from Ligue 1 side St Ettiene for £12.5 million in January, but he returned to his former club for the rest of the season on loan.
He was expected to play a bigger role this season for the west London side, but has failed to displace the likes of Gary Cahill and John Terry in defence.
He could now join former Chelsea man Demba Ba at the Turkish side, according to the Daily Star.
It will be interesting to see if Zouma receives further opportunities upon his return, or whether Chelsea have invested in him as a talent to sell on in the future, like current Everton man Romelu Lukaku.
