Arsenal Handed Huge Boost In Chase For £55m Hitman – reports

Arsenal could be handed a huge boost heading into the January transfer window, with Paris Saint Germain’s £55 million ace Edinson Cavani admitting that he wants to join the Gunners.

Cavani is so keen to move that he is set to ask the French giants to lower their valuation of him.

Currently, PSG value Cavani at £50 million, despite his lack of success since moving to the Parc des Princes.

This is close to the £55 million that PSG paid Napoli for the Uruguayan striker’s services last summer.

A lack of opportunities to feature in his preferred position have hampered his relationship with the Paris club.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic generally plays as the main striker, but with the Swedish star having suffered injuries this campaign, Cavani has plundered 12 goals in 22 appearances.

The Metro are now reporting that Cavani will look to push through a move to Arsenal by asking PSG to accept less money for him.
