Man Utd’s Upcoming Record Breaking Summer Spend Revealed – reports

Manchester United’s board are set to lavish another huge summer spend on Louis van Gaal, as reported by the Daily Star.

The Dutch boss is set to be given a huge lift when he is given the opportunity to splash £200 million in order to continue his rebuilding job of Man Utd’s squad, something that was neglected towards the end of Alex Ferguson’s time in charge.

A series of stalwarts like Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic departed in the summer, with replacements consistently not up to scratch over the years.

Van Gaal, as a result, spent a huge £150 million on players in the summer, bringing in the likes of Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao and Luke Shaw for huge fees.

Not all players have impressed, however, with Falcao struggling to make an impact after agreeing a loan switch from French side Monaco.

Van Gaal will get a chance to improve in the summer with £200 million more to play with.
