Club Chief: Star Set For Man Utd Return Next Summer

Former Sporting Lisbon director Paulo De Alvandro has revealed that there is absolutely no way Nani won’t be returning to Manchester United in the summer, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

Nani was sent out on loan to the Portuguese giants in the summer as part of Marcos Rojo’s transfer to Old Trafford.

It was said at the time that Louis van Gaal did not particularly rate the winger, who has struggled to impress since arriving in Manchester.

His inconsistent displays meant hat no one was particularly concerned when he departed in the summer, but recent displays for Sporting have suggested that Man Utd have missed out this year.

With the Red Devils struggling in the Premier League, Nani has picked up form back in his homeland.

He has scored six times in 13 appearances since his move on loan.

As a result, De Alvandro told Portuguese paper A Bola that Nani was undoubtedly going to return, saying: “It is inevitable that Manchester United will want the player back at the end of the season.

“Van Gaal will be sorry to not have gambled on him sooner.”
