Chelsea Eye Up £10m Move For Man Utd Targeted Defender – reports

Chelsea are lining up a £10 million move for Manchester United targeted defender Tyrone Mings, as reported by the Daily Star.

Mings has had an exceptional season for Ipswich Town, truly breaking through and establishing himself as a talented first team player.

As a result, he has been tracked by a series of Premier League sides, including the Blues, Man Utd and Chelsea’s city rivals Arsenal.

While both Arsenal and Man Utd clearly require defensive recruits, it is Chelsea who have stolen a march on them.

Jose Mourinho has seen his side impress considerably since the season kicked off, but the Portuguese manager is not willing to see his side rest on their laurels.

As a result, he has been linked with a January move for Raphael Varane.

Mings is another possible defensive addition, and Mourinho has now asked his scouts to track him going into the January transfer window.

The former Southampton player would cost around £10 million.
