Arsenal and Manchester United are set to do battle over 22 year old Marseille star Giannelli Imbula next summer, as reported by the Daily Star.
Imbula is said to be considering his future with the French giants, who have been in excellent form since the start of the season, when Marcelo Bielsa was appointed as the club’s new manager.
Reports in France suggest that, despite Imbula having only moved to the club in 2013, he is unsure about his long term future with the side.
This means that there could be a war over his signature next summer.
Arsenal and Manchester United have both previously been linked with a move for the midfield maestro, and both sides are well aware of their problems in the middle of the park and could move.
Chelsea could also be a threat going into the summer, with their talent spotter Guy Hillion having watched him in October.
Imbula is valued at around £12 million.
