£47m Arsenal Target Made Available In January – reports

Arsenal target Mats Hummels has been made available by Borussia Dortmund, as reported by the Daily Star, but only if the north London side are willing to spend £47 million on him.

Manchester United have been chasing the German international defender for an extended period of time, but the Gunners have recently joined the race for the elegant centre back.

They are well aware of their own defensive woes and are therefore tracking the 25 year old star’s ongoing situation with Dortmund.

Arsene Wenger’s troops have fallen apart in the club’s last two games, with his side surrendering leads against both Anderlecht and Swansea City.

While Dortmund are particularly keen to keep hold of Hummels in January, given their own struggles since the start of the season, they are aware that every player has a price.

As a result, they’ve declared that they won’t sell Hummels for anything less than £47 million.
