Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Benfica wonderkid Anderson Talisca, who has recently been called up to the Brazilian national side, as reported by the Daily Mirror.
Fans of the club will have to be hopeful that, if they do sign Talisca, he will impress more than the last Brazilian Anderson they had.
That midfielder is tipped to be on his way out of Old Trafford in January, whereas Talisca could be on his way in.
The Brazilian has impressed since the start of the season, when he joined Benfica due to work permit problems.
He is being tipped as a major star of the future, and could soon move to the Premier League, having been involved in the most rcent Brazil squad.
Chelsea were the first side said to be chasing him, but Man Utd have now seemingly joined the race that also includes Arsenal and Liverpool.
Man Utd scouted him during their Champions League clash with Monaco, when they won, and are set to watch him on Tuesday for Brazil.
Talisca has scored nine in 10 this season.
