PL Switch For £19.75m Rated Man Utd & Liverpool Target On The Ropes – reports

Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus’ long mooted move to the Premier League in the near future appears to be in serious jeopardy at this point, as reported by the Daily Star.

A dramatic new twist in the long running saga which has seen Reus targeted by the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool in recent months has seen Barcelona and Real Madrid both line up a move for the talented German star.

Marca and Mundo Deportivo, two of the top Spanish newspapers, have run the story this morning that both Real and their fierce rivals Barca are going to battle to sign the former Monchengladback star.

A buy out clause in Reus’ contract activates next summer, meaning that a club can leave Dortmund for only £19.75 million.

Worryingly for the British duo, Real Madrid also apparently have first refusal on the forward, who was unfortunate to miss out on the World Cup with an ankle injury.
