Spanish Star To Convince Compatriot To Join Chelsea, NOT Man Utd – reports

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is said to be on the cusp of being set on Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, with the intention of convincing the player that a move to Stamford Bridge in the near future would be to his benefit, as reported by fichajes.net.

Pique is reportedly unhappy with life at Barcelona, having been dropped from the first team at the weekend.

He was therefore sat on the bench as the Catalan club fell to a 1-0 loss against Celta Vigo, their first ever at the Nou Camp.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has apparently identified Pique as the ideal man to bolster his defence in January.

However, Man Utd are apparently also interested in his signature, and could convince the Spain star to return to Old Trafford.

This means that Mourinho will return to his summer signing.

He believes that the link between Pique and Fabregas, who played in the same team at La Masia, would convince Pique to make the switch.

  1. Fabregas you are the last person Pique should seek advice from. You are a ‘moron’ and Arsenal fans who once worshipped you would happily confirm it. How the hell could you join Chelsea after being Arsenal club captain and on good terms with the club supporters. You had a legend status there which has been flushed under the toilet. What did you once say: “i would rather die than play for Chelsea” you judas!
