Italian giants AC Milan are said to be chasing Liverpool’s young midfield star Suso for a January switch, as reported by Italian outlet La Gazetta dello Sport.
The young maestro has failed to impose himself on the first team at Anfield since joining them, and it still looks somewhat unlikely that he will break into the side any time soon, given the huge outlay this summer.
Suso spent last season on loan at Almeria, where he scored three goals in 33 games.
Now, however, Milan are willing to offer him a route out of Merseyside, with the club hopeful of making a January move for him.
Suso has not yet signed a new deal with Liverpool, and could agree to a switch in January for the end of his contract at no real cost to the San Siro club.
Milan also tracked him in the summer, and will be keen to see how Suso does after recovering from a recent surgery for a hernia.
