Spurs Boss Insists Goalscoring Ace Is Not For Sale

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that young striker Harry Kane is not for sale, after the England Under 21 international was linked with a switch to Southampton, as reported by the Daily Star.

Ronald Koeman’s side have been resurgent in the Premier League this season, despite initial doubts about the club’s ability to perform in the league after their mass summer exodus.

They have proven the doubters wrong, demonstrating their ability to play towards the top of the Premier League.

However, Pochettino has denied any potential for Kane to make the move to St. Mary’s in January, having seen his young charge score a hat trick in the Europa League last week.

Kane then infamously went in net for the north London club after Hugo Lloris departed the field of play, failing to keep out a simple shot.

The Saints are keen on his goalscoring prowess, however, but Pochettino is not willing to consider a sale.

He said: “Harry is an important player for us. It’s sure that Harry will stay with us for a long time.”
