Man Utd New Boy: We Can Triumph In Chelsea Clash

Manchester United new boy Daley Blind has declared that the Old Trafford club can triumph in their clash against Chelsea on Sunday.

The Manchester side were held to a 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion last night, with Blind scoring a late equaliser to salvage a point.

Saido Berainho had put the Baggies ahead prior to that.

The next opposition for Man Utd are Chelsea, who are yet to lose in any competition since the start of the season.

In fact, the only side who have caused them to drop points in the Premier League are Man Utd’s noisy neighbours Manchester City, who held them to a draw at the Etihad Stadium.

Despite this, Blind is confident that after last night’s display, the Red Devils can win at the weekend.

He said: “We were very good in possession of the ball and created a lot of chances.

“Based on that, you could possibly say it was our best game.

“I think we can [take confidence into coming games] because we played a good game.

Chelsea will likely be without striker Diego Costa, who missed the weekend’s clash with Crystal Palace.

Despite his absence, Chelsea managed a relatively comfortable win, with fellow summer signing Cesc Fabregas impressing.
