Wonderkid To Snub Man Utd In Favour Of Liverpool Move

Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard is reportedly ready to turn down a move to Manchester United in favour of a move to Liverpool, as reported by the Daily Express.

Odegaard has emerged as one of the more highly rated young players in Europe in recent months, and cemented that position by becoming the youngest ever player to feature in European Championship qualification, after appearing as a substitute during Norway’s 2-1 win against Bulgaria last week.

The 15 year old is now being chased by a host of top sides across Europe.

Both Manchester clubs were hopeful of signing him, with Odegaard having been invited to visit both Man Utd and City in recent months.

However, despite this attempted charm offensive by the two giants, it seems as though the race is being led by the Anfield club.

Both Odegaard and his father, Hans Erik, are known to be Liverpool fans, and with Brendan Rodgers interested, this could aid the Reds in making a move for Odegaard.

  1. Thats just media hype to intentionally drive up the valuation. Rubbish he can make wharever choice but he wont get the schooling like man utd would give to develop him into a world class, just look at Pogba, Pique etc. Good Luck to him.
