Leeds Utd’s ‘Warrior’: We Will Get To The Premier League

Leeds United’s elegant defender Guiseppe Bellusci has declared that his aim is to help the Whites get into the Premier League, as reported in an interview by Tuttomercato Sport.

He said: “I am a warrior, and I will arrive in the Premier League.”

Bellusci has had a mixed start to his career with Leeds, since his arrival from Catania shortly after the start of the new season.

Leeds paid a reported fee of £1.6 million to bring him in on a permanent basis, the largest figure that they have spent since relegation from the Premier League.

His debut could not have gone much more poorly – a routine high ball caught him out, and in his attempt to recover, he gave Watford a penalty before being sent off.

Since then, however, he has improved considerably.

His goal against Bournemouth, a stunning free kick from range, propelled Leeds towards victory.

He also scored the equaliser against local rivals Sheffield Wednesday shortly before the international break.
