€100M Demanded For Sensational Man Utd Target – reports

Real Madrid are reportedly not willing to part with Wales international Gareth Bale for anything less than the €100 million they spent to bring him in, as reported by fichajes.net.

This will come as a blow to Manchester United, who have reportedly targeted Bale for a potential move next summer, should their hoped for move for Cristiano Ronaldo not pan out.

Ronaldo emerged as a key target for the Old Trafford club in recent weeks, after he declared that he would like to return to his former side before he finishes his career.

However, recent news coming from both Ronaldo and the Madrid side suggest that neither party is particularly interested in that switch taking place next summer.

As a result, Man Utd have eyed up former Tottenham Hotspur star Bale for a switch in the summer window, and believed that he would be a possible signing.

However, the huge fee of €100 million demanded by Real president Florentino Perez might stop them from tracking a player who they wanted to sign before he confirmed his switch to Spain last summer.
