Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly lining up a January move for West Brom striker Saido Berahino, as reported by the Daily Express.
The forward has been in sensational form since the start of the new season, scoring an exceptional six goals in nine appearances for the Baggies, and this has alerted several clubs to his talent.
Berahino has also consistently impressed for England’s Under-21s, with West Brom boss Alan Irvine calling for his inclusion in the senior side in the near future.
Reports are now suggesting that the White Hart Lane club are leading the rest of the pack in the chase for his signature.
Chief scout Ian Broomfield has reportedly watched Berahino play three times in recent weeks.
He was also present when Berahino scored the winning goal against Croatia in Friday’s Under 21 clash.
Arsenal are also reportedly interested, and Spurs will have to fight off their interest if they want to complete a £15 million move.
