Spurs Eye Up 16-Goal Hot Shot To Bolster Forward Options – reports

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing up Toulouse’s hot shot Wissam Ben Yedder for a January move, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

Ben Yedder scored a sensational 16 goals for Toulouse in Ligue 1 last season, and has kicked off the new campaign in equally prolific form.

The striker has put away six goals in only nine games since the start of the campaign, suggesting that the player is an increasingly powerful goalscorer.

As a result, Spurs have been keeping an eye on the player.

The north London club are hoping to find a new striker for January, with neither Roberto Soldado or Emmanuel Adebayor in favour under Mauricio Pochettino.

In fact, with mounting interest in Soldado from Sevilla, the Spanish striker could depart in January, never to match up to his huge £26 million price tag.

Ben Yedder would therefore be considered an ideal option, given his recent record of consistent goalscoring, something Spurs lack.
