Man Utd Plot January Raid For Rival PL Star – reports

Manchester United are plotting a January move for Everton star Seamus Coleman, with the Old Trafford club having identified the player as an ideal improvement at right back to their current options, as reported by the Daily Express.

Coleman is undoubtedly one of the best right backs in the Premier League, and with that, interest from top sides has been brewing in recent months.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is thought to have identified Coleman as the long term solution to his problems on the right side of defence.

However, Mourinho will not be able to get his man without a fight, with Louis van Gaal also eyeing up the defender.

Both clubs are thought to be ready to make £20 million moves in January for one of the Goodison Park club’s top talents.

It will not be easy for Man Utd, despite the fact that Coleman supported them as a child – the Republic of Ireland international’s contract with the Toffees does not expire until 2019, putting Everton in the driver’s seat.
