Manchester United have made signing Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale their priority for next summer, with the Welsh wizard considered to be the ideal alternative to teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, as reported by fichajes.net.
The former Spurs star has emerged as one of the best players in his position in the world, and Real will almost certainly be reluctant to part with the talent.
However, they will have to weigh up whether they would rather lose Bale or Ronaldo, with Man Utd clearly keen to bring one of them into Old Trafford.
A return to the Premier League for Bale would be something of a surprise, with the speedster having settled incredibly quickly since moving to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Bale scored an incredible goal against Barcelona to win Real the Copa del Rey, and also played a key role as the Madrid side won the Champions League.
Real paid around €100 million to sign him last summer.
