Arsenal Agree £100k-A-Week Deal For January Signing – reports

Arsenal have agreed a deal to pay Sami Khedira £100,000 a week, assuming that they can convince his current club Real Madrid to sell him to them in January, as reported by the Daily Star.

The north London club have targeted Khedira for an extended spell, and Arsene Wenger will surely be delighted to be on the cusp of finally getting his man.

However, the agreement is reliant upon the nature of the transfer.

While Khedira is available on a free transfer in the summer, this would open up significant competition for his signature.

Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Chelsea are one side who have expressed an interest in the World Cup winner.

Real are said to want £15 million for a January transfer, but with Khedira’s contract set to expire, Arsenal will not be willing to pay more than about £10 million.

This is especially the case given that Khedira clearly wants a move.
