Spurs Line Up £4M Move For Wing Wizard – reports

Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be lining up a £4 million bid for Honduran winger Andy Najar, as reported by the Daily Star.

The Honduran international has been in sensational form for Belgian club Anderlecht, and is developing a burgeoning reputation on the continent for his play.

As a result, Spurs have sent scouts to track him.

The club’s spies saw him play against German side Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, and responded to his display in extremely positive fashion, with Mauricio Pochettino having heard that he is an exceptional talent.

This was not, however, the first time Spurs watched him, as they have now watched him twice in two wees.

The club have a long standing connection to Najar, having had him on trial as a teenager.

Najar is still only 21, and won the MLS rookie of the year while playing for DC United.

He could have played for the US national side, but instead chose to represent Honduras.
