Arsenal Send Scouts As They Step Up Chase For Playmaker – reports

Schalke star Julian Draxler has been on Arsena boss Arsene Wenger’s radar for several years, but the club have stepped their interest up to another level after sending scouts to go and watch him, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

The scouting trip comes with Wenger intending to test Schalke’s desire to keep their young star with a bid in the near future.

The Gunners sent scouts to watch Draxler during the draw with Maribor in the Champions League in mid week.

Having been suspended for several weeks, Draxler returned against the Slovenian side, and Wenger was keen to find out how he performed in that game.

Arsenal struggled in the London derby against Chelsea earlier today, with Diego Costa rounding off a calm and measured display from the west London side to give them a 2-0 victory.

Tempers flared on the touchline, with Arsenal boss Wenger pushing Jose Mourinho early in the game.

  1. Wenger is truly a specialist in failures. At the summer transfer he failed to address two major arsenal problems. Hence vamelean is sold wenger need to replace him with real quality. Likewise a proven striker. And finally bring fabergas back.
