Arsenal Woe As Chelsea’s £32M Hot Shot Declares Himself Fit For Sunday

Arsenal have suffered a blow after Chelsea striking sensation Diego Costa declared himself fit for Sunday’s clash between the two London rivals, despite not being able to train in recent days, as reported by the Daily Star.

The Spain international forward has suffered consistent problems with a hamstring issue since the end of last season, and that has raised questions about his ability to play more than one game in a week.

He played the full 90 minutes against Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday night, which might have made some Arsenal fans wonder whether he would be available for Sunday’s huge game at Stamford Bridge.

That would have been a boost for fans of the Emirates Stadium club, who will be fearful of the Brazilian born former Atletico Madrid man, given his unbelievable return in front of goal since the start of the season.

However, Costa has said that he is ready to play, despite not being fully involved in training.

He said: “There are a few niggles that are annoying me.

“There are days when I do not train so I can prevent problems, but there are other days when I can train.

“I am certain I will play against Arsenal.”
