Arsenal have increased their scouting efforts on Croatian midfield sensation Marcelo Brozovic, with the intention of signing him in January, as reported by the Daily Express.
Brozovic has developed into an important player for Dinamo Zagreb in recent seasons, and made his way to the World Cup in Brazil this summer with the Croatia national side as a result.
The 21 year old wonderkid is under contract with Dinamo until 2019, but it is believed that Arsenal could sign him for as little as £3 million.
The Gunners have therefore sent two scouts to watch the starlet.
They saw him play in the derby against Hadjuk Split three weeks ago, and were clearly somewhat impressed.
With Arsenal already possessing a significant number of attacking midfielders, there is a belief that Brozovic could be signed permanently by the north London club before being loaned out elsewhere in an attempt to aid his development.
