Liverpool And Arsenal Blow As 22-Year-Old Dynamo Denies Interest In Move

Arsenal and Liverpool have been dealt a blow in their chase for Real Madrid star Isco, after the Spanish midfielder ruled out leaving the Santiago Bernabeu in the near future, as reported by the Daily Star.

Having been consistently linked with a move away from the Spanish capital in the summer, the 22 year old has put an end to the rumours suggesting that he is on the cusp of a switch to one of a series of European giants.

Among those thought to have held an interest in the dynamic midfielder are Liverpool and Arsenal, with the Premier League rivals both thought to be keen.

Real boss Carlo Ancelotti ruled out the possibility of any switch, however, and Isco has echoed his manager’s words, agreeing that he is happy to stay at Los Blancos, despite added competition for a first team place in the form of James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos.

He said: “We are compatible. He is a quality player and I have not had any problems with him. James is helping us a lot.

“Like all players, I want to play but I am ready to be in the team whenever the coach wants.

“I’m playing very little and hope to play more. Last year was amazing, winning titles, and I am very happy at Real Madrid.”
