Man Utd To Pip Chelsea To Signature Of PL Rival Star With Swap Move – reports

Manchester United are expected to win the race for Everton’s right back Seamus Coleman, with the club hoping that a swap move for the defender will tempt the Goodison Park club into parting with one of their prized assets, as reported by the Daily Express.

With Chelsea also hovering around the Republic of Ireland star, manager Louis van Gaal believes that offering cash and Belgian international midfielder Marouane Fellaini would help Man Utd win the war.

Chelsea are thought to picture Coleman as a potential long term solution at right back, having seen Branislav Ivanovic falter slightly in recent weeks.

With Coleman’s contract at Everton set to run until 2019, it would take a large fee for any club to get the Toffees to sell.

However, the inclusion of an ex-Everton hero in the form of the gigantic Fellaini could convince the Blues to part ways with their ultra talented full back.
