Spurs Enter Race for £15M Arsenal Targeted 4 In 4 Hot Shot – reports

Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race for Valencia striker Paco Alcacer, after Mauricio Pochettino became increasingly unconvinced by his current first choice, Emmanuel Adebayor, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

Alcacer has also been chased by the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal since the start of the new season, having shown his good form in La Liga.

The newly capped Spain international has scored four goals in four games for Valencia in the league, and this has attracted attention.

The Los Che forward has now attracted the attention of Pochettino, who missed out on the signature of Danny Welbeck after rivals Arsenal snatched him on deadline day.

With Alcacer having not signed a new deal with Valencia, he still has a £15 million release clause written into his contract.

This means that the ultra talented striker is available for far less than his true value, and this has attracted the attention of both north London clubs.
