Liverpool are among the many clubs lining up a move for Real Madrid’s young Scottish star Jack Harper, with the Anfield club reportedly scouting the 18 year old star heavily, as reported by the Daily Mail.
However, they are not the only Premier League side keen on the attacking midfielder, with Manchester City also said to be scouting the talented player.
Harper hit the headlines this week, having performed sensationally in the UEFA Youth League win against Basel.
While he is Scottish, Harper was born in Spain, after his family moved from Barrhead, East Renfrewshire. He grew up in the city of Fuengirola.
Having been signed by the Spanish giants at the age of 13, Harper, has developed into a fine player.
His career began with Los Boliches, and Real had to beat off interest from Sevilla to secure his signature.
Liverpool and City would have seen a fantastic display on Wednesday, with Harper scoring and hitting the crossbar, before earning a huge ovation when substituted in the second half.
