Huge Man Utd Blow In Chase For £60m Global Superstar

Manchester United have suffered a blow in their chase for Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo, after the Portuguese international declared that he was not interested in a move away from the Madrid club, as reported by the Daily Star.

The club are very keen to bring the forward back to Old Trafford, and have supposedly earmarked a £60 million sum to facilitate a transfer for the player.

There is other interest in bringing him back to the Premier League, with Chelsea said to be a side who are potentially interested in him, although manager Jose Mourinho has denied any from the Stamford Bridge club.

Further interest exists elsewhere in Europe, with Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint Germain also said to be keen on his signature.

However, the sensation has denied any interest in a move, and has said that he is focused on his future at Real.

He said: “It’s nothing important, what’s important is Madrid. On a personal level, things are going well and I want to help this shirt. I don’t see a need to talk about things outside the club.

“It’s all speculation, speaking about my future… My future is Madrid. I’m happy. The season is going well and I’m not talking about my future, it doesn’t make sense.”
