Liverpool To Make Stunning Move For €40m Hit Man – reports

Liverpool are set to make a stunning move for the Argentinian international striker Gonzalo Higuain, as reported by the Daily Express.

The forward has had a sensational career, having spent several years at Real Madrid, the giants of Spain.

While at the Santiago Bernabeu club, he won La Liga three times.

They also won the Copa del Rey once and the Supercopa de Espana twice, although they never won a hugely coveted Champions League trophy.

Since moving to Napoli, who he joined last summer for €40 million, he has also helped the Italian side to the Coppa Italia last season.

However, it now seems he might find himself leaving the team.

Rumours suggest that the manager Rafa Benitez is set to be replaced by former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.

This could mean the end for Higuain, who is a favourite of Benitez.

The Anfield club could benefit from that particular decision, with a move for him on.

  1. Yes that famous former city manager Roberto Martinez, what a guy he was. His record was brilliant as a manager. Managed none, won none lost none and drawn none. Brill. Napoli must be looking forward to replacing Benitez with this guy.
