Leeds Caretaker Redfearn: “I Want To Manage”

Leeds caretaker manager Neil Redfearn, who is set to be replaced by permanent appointment Darko Milanic in the near future, has put doubts over his own future at the club by saying that he wants to be a manager in the future, as reported by BBC Sport.

The former Barnsley player did, however, say that he wants to stay at the club. The current caretaker is said to be a fan of the Whites, and it is believed that he remains fine with being in charge of the academy.

However, it remains to be seen how he would respond if offered a job as a manager on a permanent basis, having been bitten by the bug during his latest spell in charge.

Redfearn said: “I want to manage at some point, no two ways about it.

“But I’m very pro-Leeds Utd and whatever it takes to succeed I’m for it.”

Redfearn has led Leeds to an undefeated period during his time in charge of the club. An initial victory against Bolton Wanderers was followed by a draw with Birmingham. This was then followed by two impressive victories, one against Bournemouth and a 3-0 win in the Yorkshire derby against Huddersfield Town.

  1. Redfearn has dedicated himself to the success of the academy. He has kept his own peace during the troubled years under Bates and GFH and stepped up to take charge whenever he has been needed. He is a top man, no question. His stats are about as good as Mourino, lol!
