Arsenal are hoping to win the race for Adrien Rabiot by making a swift move for the talented young midfielder in January, as reported by the Daily Express.
The Paris Saint Germain starlet’s contract expires at the end of the season, and the French giants are worried about losing the young player on a free transfer.
Both Chelsea and Roma are said to be eyeing up the young player, with a view for getting him for free, but Arsenal are hoping that a quick bid for the youngster, at a nominal fee, will allow them to seal the deal ahead of their Premier League rivals.
PSG manager and former Man Utd star Laurent Blanc has also revealed that there is a good chance the player could move during the winter window.
He said: “If we sell Rabiot, it will be in January.”
Arsenal lost to Southampton in the League Cup tonight, with right back Nathaniel Clyne scoring a stunning strike against the north London side.
