Spurs Boss “Angry” At Display Against West Brom

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has reacted with disappointment and anger at his side’s display against West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Sunday, as reported by BBC Sport.

Spurs slumped to a 1-0 home loss against the Baggies, who have struggled somewhat under the management of Alan Irvine.

Pochettino’s troops could not turn decent early season form into another result, and conceded as a result of a set piece.

He said: “I’m disappointed and angry. I think we had a very bad day.

“We played very, very slow. We need to be more alive and play quick. We didn’t create too much. We made a big mistake on the set-piece.”

The Europa League excursions of Spurs in mid week could have had an impact, although very few of the side who played today also featured in Belgrade on Thursday night.

Pochettino’s club signed very few players in the summer, choosing instead for the Argentine manager to try and better integrate the players that they signed under Andres Villas Boas.

West Brom are one of the favourite sides for relegation this season, and have struggled to put together form since the start of the new campaign.

  1. Pochettino’s angry, what the hell does he think the rest of us that have been supporting Spurs all these years feel like, and we can’t do anything about it, at least he could pick a decent team that want to win, still if he can’t pick the right player for club captain, how on earth is he going to pick eleven players to play as a team, his judgement is obviously flawed.
