Arsenal Confirm £11m Transfer Fee For Midfield Maestro – reports

Arsenal have reportedly confirmed an £11 million transfer fee for the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, ahead of a January move for the German star, as reported by the Caught Offside.

Having been heavily linked to the player in the summer window, it seems that Arsene Wenger has finally got the player he coveted heavily before the Premier League kicked off.

The German international has turned down a new contract from the Spanish giants, and it seems as though he is set to depart. Real are now willing to cash in on the player, lest they lose him on a free transfer next summer when his contract expires.

Arsenal are said to be paying the player £140,000 a week to get him to join the club, with wages having been an issue this summer when discussing a transfer.

This comes as part of Wenger’s £30 million transfer budget for January.
