Chelsea And Arsenal Target 21 Year Old £2.5m Speedster – reports

Despite the young star having signed a new deal with Ipswich Town only yesterday, Arsenal and Chelsea have both cast admiring glances at the Tractor Boys’ 21 year old full back Tyrone Mings, as reported by the Sunday People.

The young star has been integral to Ipswich since the start of the season, as Mick McCarthy’s troops have established one of the best defensive records in the second tier.

There is also said to be interest from Crystal Palace, but manager Neil Warnock is said to have been put off by the fee of £2.5 million that Ipswich are asking for. Arsenal and Chelsea are unlikely to be put off by a fee of that amount.

Arsenal turned around some criticism this week by beating Aston Villa 3-0 away from home. Manager Arsene Wenger saw new signing Danny Welbeck score his first goal for his new side since his arrival from Manchester United for £16 million.
