Arsenal are eyeing the dynamic young Lyon striker Clinton N’Jie with the possibility of making a move for him in the near future, as reported by the Daily Mirror.
The 21 year old striker has only two years remaining on his contract with the French club, and has a release clause written into that deal of only £800,000.
He has impressed on an international level too, bagging on his debut for Cameroon this month, when they faced Congo.
As a result of his display for the international side, N’Jie has been immediately compared to former Barcelona, Chelsea and current Everton striker Samuel Eto’o, who is a legendary figure for the African side but is now reaching veteran status.
Manager Arsene Wenger has seen another of his recent forward buys repay him for his faith this weekend, with Danny Welbeck scoring his first goal for the club in their 3-0 demolition of the previously unbeaten Aston Villa on Saturday.
