Arsenal’s January Transfer Warchest Revealed – reports

Arsenal have around £30 million to spend on transfers in the January transfer window, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The north London club revealed exceptional financial news yesterday, with the club having £170 million in available cash at the end of last season, and there is an expectation that they can spend heavily in the January market as a result.

The Daily Mail are, however, predicting that the club will instead make two signings in the window, at around £15 million each, taking the potential spend to around £30 million in the winter window.

Arsenal are thought to need significant additions, having entered the new season with a questionable defensive line in terms of quality backup.

The injury to Mathieu Debuchy, which has ruled the French international right back out for a period of a few months, has highlighted the extent to which the squad may lack the players to get through an entire season.

Despite this, Arsenal did win 3-0 against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday, and could put better form together.
