French Giants Seek To Stop Arsenal And Chelsea Moves For Wonderkid – reports

Paris Saint Germain have made a last minute attempt to stop their talented midfield maestro Adrien Rabiot from moving away from the club, potentially to either Arsenal or Chelsea, by including him in the first team setup, despite the player’s contract expiring at the end of the season, as reported by the Daily Express.

Rabiot’s contract dispute has seen him left out of first team football this year, with the club unwilling to give him an opportunity when they know that he could leave the club for nothing at the end of the season.

The French giants would, however, rather receive a fee for the player, no matter how small, during the January window, and Arsenal and Chelsea are both expected to compete for him when the time rolls around.

However, they will still face competition from the likes of Roma and Juventus, both of whom have exploited the free transfer market exceptionally in recent season.

Manager Laurent Blanc is now attempting to mend fences, however, and will give the player opportunities in the first team in an attempt to keep him.

Despite this, there is little chance Rabiot will sign a new contract, but could still play in an attempt to impress visiting scouts.
