25-Year-Old Liverpool Hot Shot Could Make Stunning Return Against Everton – reports

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is hopeful of making a stunning return to action against Everton in the Premier League, having begun light training against at the club’s Melwood training ground yesterday, as reported by the Daily Mirror.

He spent the day working with a physio solo, with the player training while the rest of the side recovered from their Tuesday night Champions League excursions.

Sturridge suffered an unfortunate injury to his thigh while on duty with the England national side, and did so in a training session shortly after the game against Norway.

While Brendan Rodgers was not happy with the way that the country’s coaching staff structured the striker’s recovery time, he will surely receive a huge boost from finding out that Sturridge could be fit in time to give him another option against the club’s city rivals.

Everton fans will now be fearful that the prolific striker will return against them for the game on September 27th.
