Manchester United are reportedly interested in the signature of Aston Villa’s young talent Jack Grealish, as reported by Caught Offside.
The 19 year old midfielder spent a segment of last season on loan at lower league side Notts County, but has come back to Villa Park and been granted opportunities to impress.
With Villa resurgent, challenging towards the top of the table, the side regard Grealish highly enough to give him two substitute appearances in the Premier League.
Paul Lambert, who has been joined on the Villa coaching staff by former Man Utd hero Roy Keane, faces a battle to keep hold of his talented young charge, with fellow Premier League giants Chelsea also thought to be keen to sign the Republic of Ireland youth international.
Villa are hoping to tie the youngster to a new contract, and the clubs circling could take advantage of the lack of security around the youngster to tempt him away from Villa Park.
