Chelsea Set To Tie Another Star To Long Term Deal – reports

Chelsea are set to tie yet another of their top talents to a long term contract, with the news emerging that the club are on the cusp of getting defender Gary Cahill to sign a new three year deal with the club, as reported by The Metro.

This comes after more recent good news for the 28 year old, who was been named vice captain for the England national team by boss Roy Hodgson earlier this month.

Along with the rest of the Chelsea team, he’s also been somewhat responsible for the side’s stunning start to the new Premier League season, which has seen them win all of their games.

Cahill’s possible commitment comes after the news that Thibaut Courtois has signed a new contract with the club, agreeing a new five year deal. Eden Hazard is also thought to be on the cusp of signing a new contract that will net him £200,000 a week.
