Confirmed Leeds XI: Brazilian Sensation Misses Out On Start

Leeds United travel to Birmingham City for the 12:15 Championship kick off today, and Neil Redfearn has confirmed his starting eleven for the game, the second of his spell as caretaker manager.

The headline news is that young Brazilian star Adryan Tavares only manages a place on the bench, having joined Leeds shortly before the transfer window shut. Adryan is highly regarded in his home nation, but has failed to impose himself at a high level since emerging onto the scene as a youngster.

Elsewhere, Gaetano Berardi is restored to the starting line up, having missed out on a series of games as a result of suspension and injury. Leeds fans will be hoping he does not have another moment of madness like he did during the game against Accrington Stanley, with a violent tackle there earning him a three match ban.

Aside from that, Leeds have picked the same side that beat Bolton 1-0, with Billy Sharp and Mirko Antenucci set to continue their partnership up front.
