Revealed: Arsenal’s Failed Deadline Day Move For 18-Year-Old Wonderkid – reports

Arsenal’s last minute move for Juventus’s young wonderkid Kinglsey Coman has been revealed, with a late bid from the north London side failing to put together a move, as reported by the Daily Star.

Arsene Wenger’s side made a £3.9 million bid for the player as time began to run out during the window, but the Old Lady of Turin turned the bid down without even negotiating it.

The move would have been something of a shock, with Coman only moving to Turin on a free transfer after his Paris Saint Germain contract ran out in July.

Arsenal clearly regretted missing an opportunity to bring him in, and tried to tempt Juventus with a quick profit for the player.

Juventus, however, have previous for giving young players opportunities to shine, with Paul Pogba having been signed in similar circumstances. He is now thought to be worth as much as £60 million.

Arsenal targeted a player who is considered to be one of Europe’s next top talents.
