Wenger Woe: 23-Year-Old Arsenal Dynamo Could Miss Out On Man City Clash

Arsenal’s star midfielder Aaron Ramsey could miss out on the tie against Premier League champions Manchester City after suffering a slight injury in Wales’s game with Andorra in mid-week, as reported by The Metro.

In fact, Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has rated his chances of being available for Saturday’s key clash as being only “a little”, which will leave Arsenal fans sweating over his availability.

Ramsey has developed into a key player for Arsenal in the last season, with his form in the first half of the last campaign suggesting that the Welsh midfielder was finally reaching the potential heights people had anticipated.

An unfortunate injury midway through the season stopped Ramsey’s momentum in its tracks, although he did go on to play a role in Arsenal’s FA Cup victory, scoring an important goal as the north London side went on to triumph against Hull City.

There are now fears that an ankle injury that Ramsey suffered on international duty, playing on a terrible pitch in Andorra, could rule him out of Arsenal’s game this weekend, a match they will be hoping to win if they want to challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Wenger said: “He [Ramsey] will be assessed today and he has a little chance to be available for Saturday.

“Will it be enough to be available for Saturday? We’ll know today.”
