£10m Chelsea Starlet Threatens Stamford Bridge Departure

Chelsea’s outcast young star Lucas Piazon has said that he is willing to leave Chelsea on a permanent basis, having never been granted a proper opportunity to impress at the club since his £10 million arrival from Sao Paulo in 2011, as reported by the Daily Express.

The Brazilian winger has been so underused that he has played only one Premier League game for the west London side in his time at the club.

Loan spells away from the club have also failed to lead to an improvement in circumstances for the player, with time at Malaga, Vitesse Arnehm and Eintracht Frankfurt not leading to any further opportunities.

With so many talents ahead of him in the first team, it seems that Piazon is now willing to consider a permanent future away from Chelsea.

He said: “I wish to play at Chelsea. But football is a surprise and everything can change quickly.

“I’m only 20 and anything can happen. If everything fits, I could stay in Frankfurt.

“Chelsea has so many very good players and currently it is difficult for me to find a place.”

“Next week I pull out of the hotel and move into my apartment and tomorrow my language course begins. Then I learn German.

“I think it’s normal (to go on loan). Chelsea has so many very good players and it would currently be difficult for me to find a place. Here I can play and gain experience.”

Chelsea have started off the new season in exceptional style, winning all three of their opening Premier League games and cementing their position as early favourites.
