Chelsea star Eden Hazard could depart Stamford Bridge if Cristiano Ronaldo manages to secure a move to Manchester United, with Real Madrid thought to be viewing the Belgian international as an ideal replacement for the Balon D’Or winner, as reported by The Metro.
Ronaldo told the press last week that he was keen on a move back to Old Trafford before his career finishes, and reports yesterday suggested that his agent, Jorge Mendes, might encourage him to leave Real after falling out with the club’s hierarchy. Man Utd are said to have set aside £55 million to secure his arrival.
Reports in both France and Belgium are now suggesting that Chelsea’s star Hazard is seen as a good alternative for the Champions League winners, should they lose Ronaldo in the near future.
Hazard won Chelsea’s player of the year award last season after a stunning season that saw him score 17 goals.
Chelsea fans would be loath to see him leave, with the tricky winger establishing himself as a key player since his arrival from Lille for £32 million in 2012.
Only 100million+ will make us considering selling hazard since they can spend stupid amount on one season gareth bale and a world cup boy who wasn’t known at monaco. Hazard is our messi and ronaldo…
