Move Back On: 19-Year-Old Starlet Could Yet Join Chelsea Or Arsenal

Adrien Rabiot’s supposed move to Roma has been dismissed by the Italian club, leaving the door open to a move to either Chelsea or Arsenal, who are both interested in his signature, as reported by the Daily Express.

The young PSG midfielder was supposedly set to be used in a deal to take Kevin Strootman to the French giants, with Roma apparently willing to part with their dynamic midfielder for a player plus cash deal.

Both Chelsea and Arsenal have expressed an interest in Rabiot in the past, with both trying to sign him this summer, but PSG did not allow him to leave the Parc de Princes.

Roma seemed to have his signature secured after a deal was reportedly agreed between the French and Italian side, but comments from coach Rudi Garcia suggest that those pieces of news were well wide of the mark.

Despite this, it is clear that Roma do possess an interest in Rabiot, and both Premier League sides will face competition to bring him in.

Garcia said: “He’s a big player and he’s a player in whom we are interested.

“Our club follows all players who have big potential.

“He’s a PSG player and I have nothing else to say about him.

“He has no secret agreement with us.”
