Vidal’s Agent To Meet With Board And Demand Man Utd Move Today – Report

According to Chilean newspaper El Mercurio, Arturo Vidal is set to send his agents to meet Juventus’ board today and demand a move to Manchester United, potentially ending a long running transfer saga in spectacular fashion.

Vidal has been regularly linked with a move to Manchester since the end of this summer’s World Cup, where he cemented his place as one of the top midfielders in world football today.

The Chilean international has impressed in recent seasons under the tutelage of Antonio Conte at Juventus, but the wildly successful manager resigned suddenly last month. He has since been replaced by Massimiliano Allegri, and since that point, there have been considerable questions over Vidal’s future.

Louis van Gaal is looking to restructure Man Utd’s squad after a season of disappointment under David Moyes. To that end, he has already signed Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera, but it would be surprising if Man Utd’s transfer activity for the summer ended there.

Man Utd beat Inter Milan on penalties in their pre season friendly last night.
